The Canon EOS R1 makes use of a special type of battery: LP-E19 batteries. The camera comes supplied with an original Canon battery, but you might just as well use DSTE batteries, which are more affordable. If you want to be sure your camera never runs out of batteries, take at least a double set of batteries with you wherever you go. 

DSTE batteries are known to be very reliable with a great price/quality ratio. You will not notice any difference with an original battery. We also offer a compatible DSTE charger. The best type of memory cards to use with your EOS R1 are CFexpress cards, although your camera is also compatible with slower cheaper SDXC cards. With a very fast CFexpress card, your camera's buffer will never be full again if you take many photos in burst mode.
