FLIGHT II is a visual tribute to military aviation in all its forms by Dutch aviation photographer Dirk Jan de Ridder. As the second coffee table book in the series, it presents a selection of his favourite images from 25 years in the business, taken of aircraft from five continents - Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South America - as well as the Middle East.
FLIGHT (part I of this series) was previously published in 2022.

The book contains 261 photos of helicopters and aircraft from 61 different armed forces, taken at 74 locations in 26 countries. It took the photographer over a hundred flight hours in fighter jets, helicopters, trainers, transport and other airplanes to capture these aircraft in flight.
Please note: FLIGHT II is an enhanced and expanded edition of the previously published photo book FLIGHT. This new release once again presents a “best of” selection from the photographer’s complete body of work, which means that a substantial number of images also appeared in the earlier edition. Several photographs have been replaced with even stronger imagery, and the book has been expanded by an additional 60 pages.
