GoPro cameras make use of a special type of battery: lithium-ion batteries. Cameras come supplied with an original GoPro battery, but you might just as well use DSTE batteries, which are more affordable. Make sure your camera never runs out of batteries by taking at least a double set of batteries with you wherever you go.
