The Sony Alpha A350 makes use of a special type of battery: NP-FM500H batteries. The camera comes supplied with an original Sony battery, but you might just as well use DSTE batteries, which are more affordable. If you want to be sure your camera never runs out of batteries, take at least a double set of batteries with you wherever you go. 

DSTE batteries are known to be very reliable with a great price/quality ratio. You will not notice any difference with an original battery. We also offer a compatible DSTE charger. The best type of memory cards to use with your Alpha A350 are Compact Flash cards with a minimum storage capacity of 64GB. They have the largest capacity, so it will be virtually impossible to run out of storage capacity.
